August 1989 in die [[Denkmalliste der Stadt Hamm]] eingetragen.<br /> <br /> == Baubeschreibung ==<br /> Der Baukubus ist durch Eckerker, einen runden Vorbau (straßenseitig) und einen rückwärtigen Anbau jeweils mit Balkon und doppelläufiger Treppe mit Vordach aufgelockert. Auf der Südostecke befindet sich ein Verandaanbau von 1919 in Fachwerk- und Massivbauweise. Die originale Ausstattung ist zum Teil erhalten. <br /> <br /> Das Haus ist eine ausgewogen gestaltete Villa in klassizistischen Formtendenzen des Reformstils – Halbsäulen, Zahnschnitte, Kassettierung. Repräsentationsansprüche werden zugunsten eines modernen Wohnkomforts zurückgedrängt (Durchlichtung durch Erker und Vorbau, engere Verbindung zum Freien durch Balkone).<br /> <br /> == Baudenkmaleintrag ==<br /> Das Gebäude ist bedeutend für die Stadt Hamm als recht vollständig erhaltenes Beispiel eines bürgerlichen Wohnhauses gehobenen Zuschnittes in einem circa zwischen 1910 und 1925 villenartig bebauten und grünplanerisch erfassten Bereich an [[Ostenallee]] und [[Markgrafenufer]]. <br /> <br /> Für die Erhaltung und Nutzung sprechen vorwiegend künstlerische und städtebauliche Gründe. <br /> <br /> Der Schutzumfang schließt auch den Garten des Hauses ein.
